Interesting, but still not sure about this. My results tell me I'm from the Northeast.
I'm so not.
However, I have been told that my speech is accented and suggests I speak another language as well. . . and not just to men.
In any event, I've taken this as a compliment.
They nailed me. It's a sho' nuff Southern accent, I've got, staight out of the North Carolina Sandhills.
Of course, that means all I have to do is say, "Hello," and I'll be dismissed as an idiot by most Americans. To that I say, paraphrasing Tom Nuttall of Deadwood fame, "Anybody that doesn't like my Southern accent sucks cock by choice."
And I don't mean that in the good way.
